I am an artist. I love colors and shapes. I am fascinated by reducing colors and shapes to a minimum to bring the most out of them. My work is puristic, simple, minimalistic. I like the idea of having only one color, one metal or one shape to emphasize this “red” that “silver” or those “lentils”. I am inspired both by contemporary European design as well as Japanese design both of which share the idea of minimalism.
Since 1998 I have lived, worked and taught in the Bay Area of California. I teach private jewelry classes in my studios, do color & style consultations in my customers homes, I also teach Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Show Production classes at Cañada College in Redwood City and do business entrepreneurship consultations. Please email me [email protected] if you have any questions or if you want to make an appointment.
2012 was a big change in my private and business life: I moved my store & studio 100 miles south to Carmel, CA, a quaint artists’ town at the south end of the Monterey Peninsula. The store name changed to blue lemon :: art to wear and can be found at the Carmel Plaza on Ocean & Mission.
2015 another change happened: blue lemon :: art to wear had to move again! This time we moved up 2 stories to the 3rd floor of the Carmel Plaza, Carmel, CA. The new store & studio is bigger, better and brighter!
I am still continuing teaching jewelry classes in the Bay Area at Deborah’s Palm, a women community center downtown Palo Alto. This is a great place to learn something new, to relax, talk or simply drink a cup of tea! I love the atmosphere there, the people are great and I have a wonderful light-filled studio there!
